After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 1972, I taught Elementary art in Dubuque and Cresco, Ia. After 39 years of teaching art I retired. Then I started making ceramics in my studio and helping out in the ceramics lab at the University of Wisconsin- Platteville. Slip casting is a method I prefer to work in. After a lot of experimenting, I came up with a modular system of casting that allows me to interchange components so the finished product is one- of- a- kind. My Cubistic pots are getting bigger and more complex as I continue evolving my work.
